Who Am I?

Hello! I am Kleo (they/them) ! A 24yr old artist based in the UK (unfortunately.) I speak German & English fluently I specifically specialize in Illustration, Animation & Live2D. Although my passion and love lies within the Indie games industry. If it wasn't obvious, I really love SIGNALIS.

    I have been experimenting with Aseprite to get familiar with the software. This recent piece shows poor Ariane's decay... I have a lot of fun redrawing scenes and elements from SIGNALIS, even moreso than OC work. Sticking to the roots makes for some of the best fanart.

    LIVE2D WORK

    Something I never really show off is my Live2D work. Even though I think its some of my more easy going animation work. After graduating I find the process to really burn & I often find myself falling into burnout. But Live2D doesn't cause that. It really makes me think I should invest more time into it.

    I keep considering making some free to use models (such as a Replika series), but I think the number of people who would appreciate that may be low.

    I will keep considering it until I either commit of inevitably give up on the idea. I suppose you will see depending if this section stays on the page or not.

    Some thoughts...

    Neocities is sick. I have been online a long time and I vividly remember Geocities back in the day. Specifically Petz 5 modding sites. I think those are still archived somewhere, those were awesome.

    On that note though, there has always been a fascination in the idea of having my own page, but outside tumblr HTML I just hadn't experimented with it. This is new for me, but a lot of fun! And hopefully I can build a habit of updating this place. I want a "place" that exists outside of algorithms. Somewhere that feels less invasive. I think the worst that can happen here is being scraped by Google search for AI models. Or some shit. But where isn't that happening? Apart from that... it's disconnected. Right? .....Right? Oh how funny everything has become.

    The modern internet really makes you miss the 2010s. Yes I know it was toxic, but the toxicity feels harmless in comparison to what you see & experiences now. Which I know, is an insane statement. But I miss it. Even the concept of custom websites is foreign, everything has become automated through your phone and usually you will rely on I don't know... Squarespace? Fuck that shit. I will do it my own way.
